Terms & Conditions
The terms you agree to when you use this website and buy from Fanm Vanyan Haitian Goods.
Agreement to These Terms
By using this website or placing an order you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.
We may update these terms at any time, and the version posted here is the one that applies to your order.
Orders & Acceptance
Placing an order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we send your shipping confirmation. We may refuse or cancel an order, and refund you in full, for reasons including stock availability, pricing errors, or suspected fraud.
Pricing & Payment
- All prices are in US dollars and do not include tax or shipping unless stated.
- Sales tax is applied at checkout where required.
- We may change prices at any time, but never after your order is confirmed.
- If an item is listed at an obviously incorrect price, we may cancel the order and refund you rather than honour the error.
Product Information
We describe our products as accurately as we can. Because everything is made in small batches by hand, colour, thickness and shade vary slightly from batch to batch. That is normal and is not a defect.
Photographs are illustrative. Labels, sizes and formulations may change, so always read the label on the product you receive.
Food Safety & Allergens
Our products contain or are produced alongside peanuts, tree nuts, milk and other allergens. If you have a food allergy, read the ingredient panel on every item before consuming it.
Some products contain alcohol and are sold only to adults of legal drinking age. By ordering them you confirm you are of legal age where you live. Nothing on this site is medical or dietary advice.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the site for anything unlawful, or to interfere with how it works.
- Copy, scrape or republish our content, photographs or branding without written permission.
- Resell our products commercially without a wholesale agreement with us.
Intellectual Property
The Fanm Vanyan name, logo, label artwork, photographs and site content belong to Fanm Vanyan Haitian Goods and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not use them without our written permission.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, our liability for any claim relating to a product or this website is limited to the amount you paid for the order in question. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
Nothing in these terms limits any right you have that cannot legally be limited.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of that state.
